PAT O'DONOVAN

O’Donovan  (Cork Road, Skibbereen & formerly of Cullinagh, Skibbereen): On August 22nd 2021, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Cork University Hospital and in the presence of his family. PAT (Retired Sacristan St. Patrick’s Cathedral), beloved husband and best friend of Helen (nee O’Regan) and much loved brother of Ann (McCarthy), Helen (O’Sullivan), Diana (O’Donovan), Lar, Micheál and the late Noreen (Daly).  Predeceased by his nephews Michael Daly and Michael McCarthy (recently deceased).  Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours, carers and his wide circle of friends.

Pat's funeral will take place in accordance with current HSE and Government Guidelines, please adhere to social distancing if standing along the route. The Funeral Cortège will leave his residence on Wednesday, 25th August, at 11.15am proceeding to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, and continuing afterwards via North Street, Market Street, Townshend Street, Bridge Street, Ilen Street and onwards for burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.
