GARDINER Patrick (Paddy). Cappard, Peterswell, Co. Galway and late of Isserkelly, Kilchreest.

Peacefully, in his 93rd year, at his residence on Friday the 26th of May, 2023, in the presence and tender care of his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Margaret and Patrick, his brother Sylvie and by his beloved wife Mary Joe.

Cherished and much-loved father of Patricia (Loughnane), John, Gerry and Christina. Paddy will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Ger, by Pat partner of Christina, daughter-in-law Breda and by his adored grandchildren Enda, Aoife, Brian, Derek, Edel, Paul, David, Celene, Brendan, Joseph, & Amanda and by his great-grandchildren Oisín, Sophie, Michael, Conor, Aoife, Damian and Zarah. Fondly remembered by his loving sister’s Margaret (Texas), Teresa (Kells) and by his brothers Joe (Isserkelly) and Peter (Isserkelly), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many great friends.

Paddy will lie in repose in Monahan’s Funeral Home, Labane, Ardrahan on Monday the 29th of May From 6pm. Removal at 8pm to St. Thomas’s Church Peterswell. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday May 30th at 12 noon. Paddy will be laid to rest afterwards in Castledaly cemetery alongside his beloved wife Mary Joe. Donations if desired can be made to the Galway Hospice Palliative Home Care Team.

Paddy’s family deeply appreciate your kindness, loyalty, love and support at this time.
