Glenard Avenue, Salthill and formerly of Eyre Square. Peggy died peacefully on Monday, 20 March, at home in her 96th year with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband George and siblings Jim, Maura, Eileen, Paddy, Brendan and Tom.

 

Mourned by her daughters Geraldine and Margaret and her sons Jim and David, her grandchildren Kate, James, Ruth and Dan, James, Emer, Sinéad and Caitríona, Lucy and Sean, her great-grandchildren Maeve, Hazel, Ada, Rory and Liam, Joseph, George, Aidan, Darcie and Niall, her daughters-in-law Carrie and Maree, sons-in-law Niall and Vincent, nephews and nieces, neighbours, friends and her wonderful carers.

 

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) on Thursday, 23 March from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Arriving at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill on Friday, 24 March, in advance of Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. Following Mass, Peggy will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Bohermore.

 

"There, she is gone!"

There are other eyes watching her coming,

and other voices ready to take up the glad shout,

"Here she comes!"
