Peter Guinan

The death has occurred of Peter Guinan, 15 St. Cormac’s Park, Kilcormac and late of Springfield, Fivealley. Peter passed away peacefully at home on 6th January,surrounded by his loving wife Trisha and his beloved children Justin and Shannen.Peter is predeceased by his late father Peter and his father in-law Barney and mother in-law Bridie. Cherished by his wife Tricia, son Justin, daughter Shannen, son-law Conor and his mother Elizabeth (Liz). He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brothers Pat, Kieran, Joe, Denis, Brendan and Brian and by his sisters Nuala, Pauline, Maura and Betty, nieces, nephews, in-laws and a wide circle of family and friends.

Reposing at his home in St. Cormac’s park on Saturday 8thJanuary from 6pm until 8pm and Sunday 9th from 6pm until 8pm followed by rosary both evenings at 8pm.House will be private on Monday morning. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10th January, at 11am in the Church of the Nativity of the blessed Virgin Mary, Kilcormac followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kilcormac. Face masks must be worn in Peter’s home and the church in line with current guidelines. Friends and neighbours are welcome to stand along the route to the church and the cemetery, while adhering to social distancing guidelines.
