Forde (Cork) on April 7th 2026, peacefully in the exceptional and loving care of his family and staff of Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Dessert; Raymond (Ray) (Darkie) St. Rita’s Avenue, Gurranabraher. Beloved husband and best friend of Eileen (O’Donnell) and loving father of Raymond, Paul and Edel. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Luke, Sarah and Reuben, brother Joe, sisters Ann and Maura, nephews, nieces, son-in-law Damien, daughter-in-law Siobhan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Visitation on Thursday 9th April from 5pm-6pm. Cremation Service on Friday 10th April at 11am in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. Ray's Cremation service will be live streamed at https://www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/.
