The death has occurred of
Richard (Dick) Prendergast
Richard (Dick) Prendergast, Castlemartyr and Kilmacthomas Co. Waterford, on November 27th 2024, in his 90th year, peacefully, in the presence of his family and in the excellent care of the staff at Cork University Hospital, Richard (Dick), son of the late Patrick and Margaret (née McGrath) and husband of the late Breda (neé O'Callaghan).
Sadly missed by his son Rick, daughter Afric, brother Shane, daughter in law Gosia, Afric's boyfriend Edmund, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandniece, cousins, friends and his bandmates in the Deise Brass band.

Dick will Repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton on Friday 29th from 7.30 to 8.30 p.m.
Reception into Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely on Saturday 30th for 11.30 a.m. Funeral Mass followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery, Mogeely.
