(née Treacy)
Rita passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family. Predeceased by her much loved husband Matt and infant son Cormac, sister Maura (Nevin), brothers JJ, Caimin, Michael and Donal (Treacy). Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary, Pauline and Eimear (MacCarthy), son Matthew, adored and adoring grandchildren Charlotte, Alisha and Tiernan, daughter-in-law Marguerite (Hickey) and son-in-law David (MacCarthy), her sisters Josephine McGrath and Breda Murphy, sisters-in-law Shelia Treacy and Rita Canavan, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing in St. Joseph's Church, Tuamgraney , (V94 PW40), on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 from 6pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 29th, at 11.30 am followed by burial in St. Coolan's Cemetery, Tuamgraney. Mass may be viewed live on https://www.churchcamlive.ie/bodyke-tuamgraney
