The death has occurred of Seamus Hughes, 5 Glencove Manor, Old Armagh Road, Monaghan. Tuesday, 27th July, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his brother Mick Hughes, Killyrane, Emyvale. Lovingly remembered by his wife Rita, son Raymond, daughter Caroline, daughter in law, Loraine and son in law Seamus, grandchildren Jack, Molly, Luke & Sean. Seamus will be sadly missed by his sisters Marie Wilson, Kathleen McCarville, Rita Grimley, Bernadette Clerkin, brothers Packie & Gene, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In accordance with HSE guidelines, Seamus' remains will repose at his residence (private to family & friends only) until removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St.Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral mass at 11am (limited to 50 family/friends only); https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-macartans-cathedral-monaghan. Burial afterwards in Drumbannagher Cemetery, Glaslough. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
