The death has occurred of Sr. Declan Mooney, Sister of Mercy Convent, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Wednesday, June 8th, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Sr. Declan, predeceased by her brothers John and Art, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, nephew Colm and wife Anne, niece Helga and husband Brendan, cousins, Sisters Of Mercy Northern Province, extended family and her many friends.

Sr. Declan will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney, Sunday afternoon from 3pm until 7pm. Removal on Monday morning from Ward’s Funeral Home at 10:45am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for funeral mass at 11am followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery, Castleblayney.
