Stephen Mooney, Rochfortbridge (former Postman in Rochfortbridge and Tyrellspass), passed away 2nd May, (peacefully) at his home with his heartbroken family by his side. He will be sadly missed by his devoted family, wife Agnes, sons and daughters Fergal, Mary (Lehane), Dermot, Caroline (Gallagher) and Gerry, his adored grandchildren Rachael, Luke, Sinéad, Caitriona, Stephen and Carrie, daughters-in-law and sons-in-law Roisin, John, Monica and Tony, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, their wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of friends. The Mooney family would like to thank especially and sincerely his carers and all who looked after Stephen so well.

May Stephen's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Due to continued Covid 19 restrictions and only 25 persons can attend, Stephen's Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Tuesday (4th May) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
