THERESA HIGGINS (née Beausang) Shanagarry. On November 22nd 2021 peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Marymount Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late John and Nellie. Beloved wife and best friend of Barth, much loved mother of Aoife (Murphy) and Sinéad, adoring and adored Nana of Róisín and Fiadh, mother in law of Niall. Sadly missed also by her sisters and brothers Norah, Stephen, Willie, Mary, John, Frances, Thomas and Pa, all her extended family, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Anyone attending a funeral is required to adhere to continuing guidance regarding social distancing, hand shaking, hand sanitiser and mask wearing.

Theresa is reposing at her home which is strictly for family only before 4pm on Wednesday. Any visitors after that please adhere to the continuing Covid 19 guidance.

Theresa will leave home on Thursday at approx 1.45pm on Thursday 25th, en route to the Church of the Immaculate Conception for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Cloyne.

The church has very limited capacity so the Mass is mainly for family, but can be viewed live on this link Theresa’s Mass.
