The death has occurred of THOMAS (Tommy) DEADY

DEADY (Brookdale, Midleton and formerly of Younggrove). On January 15th 2021, suddenly at his home in the presence of his loving family. THOMAS (Tommy) Mackey Coaches, Dungourney & formerly PTE 1st Fd S&T Company, Collins Barracks, Cork, retired after 29 years of service. Devoted husband and childhood sweetheart of Louise (née Healy, Gortacrue), beloved, cherished and much loved father of Shauna, Killian and Ciara. Besotted Granda of his darling Willow. Son of Maura and the late John (Jacko), brother of Peter, Timmy, Mary, Dan, Noreen, Julie, Michelle, Trisha and the late Seany, brother-in-law of the late Dominic Knowles, son-in-law of James and the late Susan Healy. Sadly missed also by his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, extended family, work colleagues, fellow soldiers, relatives and a wide circle of friends. We remember also the late Kelly.

HOUSE PRIVATE IN LINE WITH RESTRICTIONS.

Thomas' funeral will take place in line with continuing guidance and restrictions as largely a family event. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines if in attendance.

Thomas will leave his home with his family on Saturday, September 25th, at 10am approx. Requiem Mass in The Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton at 11am for his family circle, the capacity of the church is confined to a maximum 50% at their discretion and within their social distancing requirements. Mass can be viewed live on the Parish TV Saorview Channel and using this live link to the Parish Website Thomas Deady's Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society.
