Very Rev Fr Robert McKenna

Very Reverend Robert (Bobby) McKenna PE, passed away peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry, surrounded by his devoted family, 1st September 2022. May he rest in peace. Beloved son of the late Robert and Cassie McKenna RIP and much loved brother of Maeve (Harkness), Dr Patsy, Brendan, Kay (Bell) and the late Emmett RIP.

Rev Fr Bobby's remains are reposing at his late residence 26 Newtown Road, Camlough, from 8.30 pm this evening, Friday 2nd September 2022, until his removal on Sunday, 4th September 2022, at 5.30 pm to arrive at the Church of St. Malachy, Carrickcruppen, Camlough, for 6 pm Sunday Mass. Following the mass viewing will take place until 10 pm. Requiem Mass is on Monday, 5th September 2022, at 12 noon and interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Fr Bobby will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers, sisters, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and nieces. Archbishop Eamon Martin, Bishop Michael Router, Cardinal Sean Brady, Bishop Bill Murphy and Bishop Joseph Duffy. Rev Fr Dunne PP, Rev Fr Larkin, Deacon Phillip and the priests of the Archdiocese of Armagh, and the parishioners of Lower Killeavy Parish.
