William (Billy) Sheehan

SHEEHAN (Cork) On 6th December 2025, unexpectedly, but peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff of Cork University Hospital, WILLIAM (BILLY), Murmont Avenue, Montenotte and late of Vincent’s Street, Cathedral Road and Roberts Cove. Dearly beloved husband of Carmel (nee Browne) and much loved father of Fiona, Orla, Laura, Deirdre, son Jonathan, foster son Declan O’Leary, devoted grandad of Aiobhe, Adam, Zach, Caitlin, Max, Charlie and Emma-Louise, dearest brother of Helen, Marion, Eddie and Paul.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law Shaun, Ken and Ger, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Monday (8th December) at 10.00am, family in attendance from 6.30pm with Rosary at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (9th December) at 12noon in the North Cathedral.
