William Christopher (Billy) Cummins

William Christopher Cummins (Billy), Townrath, Drogheda and formerly of Boola, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. 11th February 2025. Peacefully surrounded by his adoring family, after a long illness. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann of 55 years, whose devotion and care sustained him throughout his illness. Also very deeply regretted by his children Ronan, Mary, John, Sarah and their partners, adoring grandchildren Liam, Grace and Ronan, sister Sr. Terri, brother Jim, sisters-in-law Bernie and Phyllis, nieces and nephews. Billy was predeceased by his brothers Pat, Con, Frank, Bren, Mick and sister Sr. Majella (Peg), all of Boola, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.

Billy will be missed by his former colleagues at An Grianan ICA College of Horticulture, Termonfeckin and the Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin, also by his associates at various wholesale nurseries and markets across the country. The family wish to acknowledge his friends and neighbours who visited Billy throughout his illness and showed him kindness.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11:30am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Drogheda, which can be viewed live on - www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie.
Burial afterwards in NewtownCross Lawns Cemetery.
