William Finneran, Tavanagh, Brideswell, Athlone, Co. Roscommon, Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at home, in his 84th year. Predeceased by his parents James and Rebecca, brothers Joe and Tom, sister Kathleen Tighe (Strokestown) and granddaughter Leigha. William will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, sons James and Liam, daughters Áine and Fiona, daughters in law Orlaith and Leeane, Fiona's fiancé Enda, grandchildren Amelia, Reece, Brody and Freya, brother John, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends.

William will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell (N37 EK88), (Walk through only), on Thursday evening (January 27th) from 5 o'c with removal at 7 o'c to St Ronan's Church, Taughmaconnell. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday morning (January 28th) at 11 o'c with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
William's family are very conscious of the risks of Covid-19, therefore request those attending the funeral to please follow all guidelines in regard to sanitising, mask wearing and refrain from handshaking & hugging.
