The death has occurred, in his 77th year, of William (Willie) Lynch, Richardstown, Dromin, Dunleer, peacefully at The Louth County Hospital, Dundalk. Willie, beloved husband of Rose (née Martin) and loving father of Gráinne, Jennifer, Lisa, Martina, Karen and Rosena. Predeceased by his father Tom the Joiner, mother Margaret, brothers Joe, Gussie, Dickie, Benny, Demmy and Noel. Sadly missed by his wife, daughters, grandchildren Kodi, Mdina, Zoe, Seren, Oisin, Bella, Hannah, Georgia, Amelia and Jordan, sons-in-law Stephen, Des, Brendan, Karl and Marty, sisters Peggy and Verona, brother Declan, brother-in-law Paddy, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Rest in Peace

 

A private family funeral for Willie will take place due to Government advice on public gatherings, with numbers limited to 25. Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 10.30am to Saint Finian's Church, Dromin arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Willie by being present, socially distanced, on the route from his home to the church, via Keaigs Cross. Those who would like to attend but cannot due to restrictions may leave a personal message in the Condolence section below.
