The family of the late Brendan O’Kane wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Thank you to those who attended the wake and funeral. Thank you to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolence and floral tributes.
We express our gratitude to those involved in his care throughout his illness – the staff of Letterkenny University Hospital, the team at Lifford & Castlefinn Primary Care Centres, the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Physiotherapists, and the Palliative Care Team of the Donegal Hospice.
A special thank you to Fr Ciarán Hegarty and Fr Patsy Arkinson for officiating at the Requiem Mass, for their presence and prayers at the wake, and for officiating at the graveside. Thank you to those who participated in the Mass and to those who formed a Guard of Honour at the Church. A special word of thanks to Charles Lynch Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and support, and for the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

We think of things you used to say, and all that you would do.
At some point, every single day, our thoughts will turn to you.
No matter how life changes, no matter what we do,
A special place within our hearts is always kept for you.
