On this John Joe's First Anniversary we, his wife, sons & daughters, wish to acknowledge the overwhelming support shown to our family following our loss. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr Paul McDonald, Dr Owen Power, Maura, Kate, Michelle & all the team at Brookfield Care Centre, Leamlara for the excellent care, attention and respect you gave John Joe during his short stay and for the compassion you showed us. We will be forever grateful to you all. Thanks to all that visited John Joe in the care Centre and for offering transport to the family to visit.
Sincere appreciation to James Cahill funeral Director, Morgan and Noel for their kind sensitive and professional handling of arrangements. Their guidance and support were a massive comfort to us.
We would like to thank Fr Aquin Casey for a beautiful mass service & to Pam Mulhaire for administering the Eucharist. Also, to John Daly who sang so beautifully & accompanied by Dom Finn on the organ. To all who travelled long distances to join us for the Removal and Funeral, those who sent floral tributes, sent mass cards, text messages and left condolences on RIP.IE we thank you sincerely.
A special thank you and sincere appreciation to Des Keegan and his comrades who formed a guard of honour on arrival at the church for the funeral mass. Sincere appreciation to Paul Donegan who organised this honour.
A big thank you to the staff of Connie Doolan's for facilitating us after the removal & food provided, to Jamie Stanton & staff of Cobh Pirates for facilitating us after the funeral & to Shane Jones & staff Eurospar for the food provided.

Finally, we offer our heartfelt gratitude to the many relatives, friends, work colleagues and our wonderful neighbours who provided us with food & supported us during John Joe's ill health and ultimate passing and have continued to support us over the past year. Special thank you to Joe & Liz Hawes, Charles Daly & to the Burke family who were great friends of John Joe.

John Joe's 1st Anniversary Mass is Sunday 14th April in St Colman's Cathedral at 12pm all are welcome.
