We wish to thank everyone for their love and friendship to Niall, especially his close friends and family who provided daily support and care while he was sick.
We are grateful to all those who sent letters, cards and RIP.ie consolences with such kind words and to the family, neighbours and friends who were so supportive to us in Coomhola and those who paid their respects at the roadside on the way to Coomhola Church and on Niall’s journey to Kilmacomogue.
We wish to warmly thank Dr. Joan Lynch and the Newtown Surgery team, doctors, nurses and staff of Bantry General Hospital, the staff of Newtown Pharmacy Bantry, the West Cork Palliative Care team, Irish Cancer Society, Niall’s Daffodil Day friend, Rebecca Ní Mhurchú and all the health care professionals who took great care of Niall during his short illness.
We are very grateful to Father John Heinhold for his supportive words at the funeral Mass, to the sacristans Theresa and John and to the undertaker, Arthur Coakley and his family, for their tremendous support and attention to detail throughout the funeral preparations and also to the gravediggers.
To those who expressed their wish to attend Niall’s funeral but were unable, due to the first lockdown, Thank You.
Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude. A Mass has been offered for your intentions on Sunday 16th May 2021 at 10am in St Joseph’s Church, Coomhola.
May Niall’s gentle soul Rest In Peace.
