Cancer Trials Ireland

We co-ordinate trials in Ireland which test new and better ways to treat cancer.

These trials are run in hospitals around the country and offer free and early access to promising treatments not yet available to all patients. They can enhance and prolong the lives of people who take part.

Because one in three Irish people will be diagnosed with cancer this work of finding answers to cancers is critically important for a great many people.

Since it was set up in 1996 over 15,000 cancer patients have participated in over 350 cancer trials. We are a charity and almost 100% of Ireland’s cancer treating consultants are members. We would really appreciate your support.

There have been some fantastic advances made in the treatment of cancer in recent years. Ireland has played a significant role in these advances and is continuing to do so.

Would you like to help us extend these advanced treatments to more Irish patients?

100% of all moneys donated are used to make clinical research options available for patients in Ireland.
