Sick Poor Society Cork

The task of The Sick Poor Society is to reach out to families who are in these difficult circumstances and to provide them with material and other assistance.

This work is undertaken on a voluntary basis and consequently, all monies are used solely for the benefit of needy families. Administration charges of the Society are less than 1% per annum.

We assist families and individuals from Bishopstown through Cork City and as far as Mahon. This covers the Southern Parish or South of the River.

New members are urgently required, both male & female. All our fundraising comes from door to door collections.   Please note that we do NOT receive any grants and all the work is voluntary. No one receiving any remuneration. less than 1% goes on administration.
