Gardners Funeral Directors is a family owned business serving the bereaved of Athenry, Kiltulla, Clarinbridge, Oranmore/Maree, Lackagh/Turloughmore, Claregalway and Galway City for 150 years.

The Gardner family has the experience of four generations of funeral directors in Athenry, Co. Galway to back its tradition of funeral service personal care, best practice, and quality of service to the bereaved.

Our funeral home is situated at The Square, Athenry, directly behind the Medieval Cross. We also have access to Funeral Homes in all areas that we serve.

We understand the needs of the bereaved family and friends and it is our role to guide them, with sensitivity and dignity, through their most traumatic and grief-stricken time.

We believe in flexibility and affordability. We tailor every arrangement to the needs of our customers. We give a 24 hour service, 365 days per year.

When a loved one dies, we will help and guide you through all the funeral arrangements with the minimum of stress to you.
♦ We liaise with Hospitals/Nursing Homes, Churches, Crematorium, Cemetery.
♦ We will help compose and submit newspaper, radio and internet announcements.
♦ We will assist in the selection of coffin/casket from our comprehensive range.
♦ We advise on floral arrangements, organist, soloist, or any other detail you may require.
♦ Your loved one will receive expert care from our qualified embalmer.
♦ We assist in the procurement of death certificates and registration.
♦ We advise on support services, including bereavement grants and other assistance.
