| LONG (Carrigtwohill & formerly of Silverdale Road, Ballinlough) on October 29th peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. GERARD. Beloved husband and best friend of Joyce (née Harvey) & devoted Dad to Jessica & Jack, loving son of Christy and Anna and son-in-law of Pearse and the late Patsy. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sisters Majella (Tompkins) and Clair (Hegarty) nephews David and Ruairi nieces Lara and Caoimhe. His brothers-in-laws PJ, Sean, Ken and Richard, sisters-in-law Avril and Ruth, relatives and friends.
Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh.O'Connor Ltd. Removal at 6.00pm on (Wednesday) evening to Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinlough. Requiem Mass at 11.00am on (Thursday). Funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers donations if desired to the Caroline Foundation.
