As we lovingly remember Caroline on her first anniversary, her husband Daniel, daughter Ava, parents Pat and Mary, sisters Barbara and Denise and the extended Kelly and Gibney families wish to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who supported us on the heartbreaking loss of our beautiful Caroline.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to Caroline’s many wonderful family, friends, work colleagues and neighbours, to those who phoned, sent mass cards and letters of sympathy, for the many condolences on rip.ie, the home cooked meals dropped to the door, the beautiful flowers and all who lined the roads from our home to Caroline’s final resting place. Your support and kindness will never be forgotten.
We wish to express our appreciation to Fr. Michael Meade for his comforting words, spiritual support and prayers in the days before and after Caroline’s passing.
Our gratitude to William Ryan and sons funeral directors for the respect and dignity shown while carrying out their duties.
Thanks to Jane, Edel and the members of Dangan choir for the beautiful music and singing at Caroline’s funeral mass.
Thank you to Caroline’s oncologist Prof. Kelly, Dr. Ronan Mc Laughlin and the staff of St. Vincent’s ward in the Mater hospital who went above and beyond, providing the best possible care and comfort for Caroline.
To Dr. Taaffe, Dr. Clarke and all the staff in Summerhill primary care centre, we are forever grateful.
Thank you to the owners and staff in Summerhill pharmacy.
A special thanks to public health nurse Elaine Slevin, Ciaran and Martina and the Meath palliative team and the cancer care nurses who fulfilled Caroline’s wish and made it possible for her to spend her final days at home. This allowed us the privilege to spend that precious time with Caroline. For your kindness and compassion, we are truly grateful.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
To our beautiful, kind, smiling Caroline whose positivity always shone through, you are so deeply missed and will forever be in our hearts.
