Acknowledgment and First Anniversary of Sheila O’Mahony, Knocknacurra, Bandon, Co. Cork
who died 18th May 2020.
The family of our beloved Sheila would like to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on our sad loss.
We truly appreciate all the Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of sympathy, offers of condolences on R.I.P.ie, text messages and floral tributes which we received.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful neighbours, relatives and friends who supported us during that time. To all who stood on the roadside to bid farewell to Sheila on her final journey, to those who gathered outside the church, and to those who were with us in spirit but could not be present due to Covid restrictions.
Our sincere gratitude to all at Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Clonakilty and Bandon Community Hospital who were always so kind and caring to Sheila. Thank you to Dr. Maire O’Callaghan who also looked after her with such great care.
A special thank you to Fr. Finbarr Crowley P.P. Innishannon for administering the Last Rites to Sheila. To Fr. Michael O’Mahony P.P. Balllinadee & Ballinaspittle, who celebrated her Funeral Mass and Burial, and for making it all so personal and meaningful.
Finally, our thanks to all at Gabriel & O’Donovans Undertakers for their help and professionalism, and to the grave diggers who carefully prepared Sheila’s final resting place.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Sheila’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated when restrictions permit.

No Winter without a Spring,
And beyond death’s dark horizon
Our hearts once more will sing - “
