Acknowledgement & First Anniversary
June 1, 2020

We, Margaret, Stephen & Judy along with Mike’s brothers Noel & Finbarr, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone for the amazing support and kindness shown to us following our devastating and sudden loss of Mike.

We were deeply touched by the volume of online condolences, phone calls, texts, letters, Mass cards, flowers, and refreshments we received. We extend our deepest appreciation to our fantastic family and friends who provided incredible support to us.  To Mike’s colleagues and our own colleagues, to our great neighbours and everyone who lined the route of the funeral cortege on the day of Mike’s burial - we thank you for your support.

Heartfelt thanks to Liam & Brian, to Dr. Adrian Murphy and the paramedics who attended to Mike.  To Fr. Damien for his lovely mass, vocalist Michelle and sound engineer Jimmy Healy.  To Jerh O’Connor Funeral Directors, Coburg St., the grave diggers and to An Garda SÍochána who coordinated traffic. Thank you.  We want to extend our deep appreciation to the Blarney Golf Resort for their incredible tribute to Mike and to the Inniscarra GAA club for the amazing guard of honour. We were deeply touched. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincerest gratitude.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intensions.

In line with COVID restrictions family prayers will be held to mark Mike’s First Anniversary.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
