Donal O’Shea, Cloghroe Village.
Died 3rd of June, 2020.
Mary, her sons, John, Mark and Anthony along with extended family of the late Donie O’Shea would like to acknowledge and thank everyone for the support and messages they have received since Donie’s sudden passing. Firstly we would like to thank the Dennehy family and first responders who immediately offered their support. We would like to thank the vast amount of family and friends who sent Mass cards and wrote kind messages in online condolences and letters. Thanks to Crowley Undertakers, Ballincollig, Fr Patrick and Fr Damien and all celebrants who made Donie’s Funeral ceremony so sincere and respectful.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the huge numbers of people who lined the funeral procession enroute to St Senan’s Cemetery, including members of Inniscarra GAA and Camoige Clubs, local Gardaí, members of Kanturk Golf Club, Dromtariffe Golf Society, the Community of Cork Road Bowling, members of the Fianna Fáil party and finally, family members, neighbours and friends who helped us say goodbye and cherish the life of the Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend we adored so much. He truly was a much loved, much respected and a brilliant man.
Mass will be offered for your intentions
We will forever miss him.
God called your name so softly,
That only you could hear;
And no one heard the footsteps
Of Angels drawing near.
The golden gates stood open,
God called you in to rest:
His garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
