Michael, Kathleen’s husband, and family would like to give heartfelt thanks to all our family, friends and neighbours who have helped us since Kathleen’s sad passing and throughout the weeks since.
To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, your nanny would have been very proud of you all.
We offer our heartfelt gratitude to the many friends and neighbours of the Feakle and Dublin communities who supported us with great kindness in the days following the passing of Kathleen. For those who prepared the endless amount of food and refreshments, who paid their respects, the cortege of neighbours who respectfully brought Kathleen home and those standing on the roadside for Kathleen’s final journey from Feakle to her home town in Dublin.
Angela, Peter, Celine, Kenneth & Daniel. Captain’s Road in Crumlin has special fond memories and continues to do so. The balloons, flowers, thoughtful packs prepared by Celine and the music played Westlife “I’ll see you again” this song we will hold in our hearts forever. We know in our hearts she was looking down proud a punch. From the bottom of our hearts, we are forever grateful for this time.
“Family where life begins and love never ends”
We gratefully acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us on our recent loss. Your mass cards, messages, floral tributes and online comments were truly appreciated. We also thank those of you who couldn’t attend in person but joined us via livestream & continue to keep Kathleen & all of us in your thoughts.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Tony (Crumlin parish) for celebrating such a beautiful funeral service with us. Thanks also to Niall Smyth from Smyth’s Funeral Directors for respectfully taking care of Kathleen in her final days.
Special thanks to the all the doctors and nurses in Limerick Regional Hospital the time, respect and care giving to Kathleen and us as a family we are forever grateful.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Kathleen will remain forever in the hearts & minds forever
