We the family of the late John Cregan wish to express sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with and supported us on the recent sad death of John.  Our thanks to our relatives, neighbours, friends and work colleagues for thoughtfulness, kindness and support.  We are appreciative of those who called to our home, brought food helped with refreshments, sent messages, telephoned, sent mass cards, flowers, those who shared condolences online, posted beautiful messages online and who watched funeral mass online and those who travelled long distances to be with us. 

To our family, neighbours and friends who supported us in this difficult time a heartful thank you from us all.   To all who attended the funeral Mass, to all our neighbours and friends who lined the road and all at Wolfe Tones na Sionna for the moving guard of honour, our dad would have been so proud. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to John and the staff at Shealeez restaurant for the beautiful food, the staff of the Goal post bar, Dr McGann, Dr McCormack and staff of the Davin clinic Limerick , Dr McManus team and nurses of 3A ward UL hospital, Milford homecare team, Betty and Adel  nurses of  Shannon health centre, Shannon Doc nurse Linda, Grainne and staff of Lloyds chemist Shannon, 

Dad’s Carers  and finally the most caring thoughtful gentle night nurse Ann we had the night of Dad’s passing.  Our thanks to everyone who called to see Dad over his last days he enjoyed your company.  A sincere thanks to Cannon Brendan, Fr Francis, Fr James, Michelle the sacristan. Dad’s funeral mass was a fitting tribute to the loving and caring person he was, the music makers Ger and Annette who enhanced the liturgy with music and song, Margaret Conway and the grave diggers who prepared Dads final resting place with such care and attention. 

We would like to thank Kennedy’s Undertaker’s whose professionalism and understanding guided our family through this difficult time.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your attention.

John’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St, John and Paul's Church, Shannon on Saturday 4th August, at 6.30pm.

Dad you will be greatly missed bur forever in our hearts. May he Rest in Peace.
