Andy’s wife Clare, sons Eoin & James the Minogue & O’Brien families would like to express our sincere gratitude for the overwhelming support shown to us on our sad loss of Andy. We wish to thank everyone who attended the funeral, either in person or on webcam.
We thank our wonderful neighbours, families, friends & work colleagues, for their invaluable help and ongoing support and we are also grateful to those who called and brought food & refreshments to our home.
We thank all who sent online condolences through RIP.ie and social media, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, perpetual enrolments, letters, emails, texts, votes of sympathy and those who telephoned and called to our home. We express special thanks to Andy’s friends, neighbours and colleagues who were a fantastic support to him throughout his illness.
Our sincere appreciation to our neighbours, Parteen GAA U15 & U17 teams, our Revenue friends & colleagues, Clarisford Parkrun, Dooneen AC, Nenagh AFC and all who lined the roads with a magnificent guard of honour as Andy was making his final journey, the memory of this journey will live with us forever. Thank you to all our relatives, neighbours and friends far and near who attended mass, stood outside the church grounds and were present at the burial grounds, your presence and support was greatly appreciated.
Our thanks to Fr. Derek Leonard for celebrating his funeral Mass and for his support & guidance, to Tony McMahon Funeral Undertakers for their professionalism & advice and to the sacristan Kathleen who prepared Parteen church. A word of appreciation to Clodagh Lawlor for her wonderful singing, to the readers, to those who read prayers of the faithful and brought up gifts and a special word of thanks to Louis Crowe for the beautiful and very moving eulogy. Thanks to the gravediggers for preparing Andy’s final resting place with great care and respect.
A special thanks to the Consultants, Doctors, Specialists & Nurse Bernie Corr at Beaumont Hospital who cared so well for Andy throughout his illness & to the Milford Hospice Team & Nurse Bernie Brophy. To Dr Criona Burns and staff at Meadow Springs Medical Centre and to the staff at Corbally Pharmacy we thank you for your support & kindness. Thanks to the local Public Health Nurse, OT Specialist, Speech & Language Therapist, Physiotherapist, Dietician & to the staff at the Central Remedial Clinic, RespiCare & Family Carers Ireland for their guidance and support.
We thank the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association for their tremendous work, support & compassion towards Andy over the past number of years. We would also like to thank those who generously donated to this charity.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
