Kathleen and the Graham and Henderson family circle wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy on the death of Roy who passed away on 21st July 2021. Thanks to all who sent sympathy cards, letters, phoned, sent text messages and condolences online. Thanks to all those who gave donations in lieu of flowers to Donegal Community Hospital.  Thanks to Canon Brian Russell for his comforting readings and prayers at the hospital.  Our sincere thanks to Canon John Deane, for conducting a lovely funeral Service, the Church wardens,  and to those who joined online. To all those who lined the road on the day of the funeral , thank you for coming, it did mean a lot to the family in these difficult times. Thanks to Archdeacon David Huss for his pastoral care and his visits to the hospital. Thanks to the doctors and staff of LUH, the district nurses, Mary McAnaw and her team down through the years, the occupational therapists, the carers, the ambulance personnel, HSE maintenance men and delivery drivers – they were all very caring people. Thanks to the doctors and nurses in the NRH in Dun Laoghaire who looked after his health for the 61 years he was confined to a wheelchair.  Thanks to Susan Rose and her wonderful caring staff in Donegal Community Hospital for the excellent care they gave Roy where he was cared for almost 3 months.  Thanks to Dr. Austin O’Kennedy who attended Roy since 1985, and his team Dr. Bev.  Huss, Dr. Farrah and Dr. Jason McGill. To Emily McElveen, from Spinal Injuries Ireland for her support over the last year.   Thanks to all our neighbours and friends for their prayers, help and support during the past months. Thanks to George Irwin and Sons, Funeral Directors, for their professionalism, help and guidance.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude.
