The Family of the late Tracy O'Brien, who died unexpectedly on 22nd August 2021, would like to thank most sincerely all those that sympathised with them on the loss of a precious daughter, sister, niece, godmother, aunt and sister-in-law.

We will be forever grateful to our many friends, neighbours and extended family who visited our home, left beautiful tributes and condolences on line, sent mass cards and letters, phone calls, sent wreaths and flowers..

A sincere thank you to the two Gardai who came to our home to convey the terrible news.  To our wonderful neighbours who organised everything in and around our home, a sincere thank you.  To everyone who brought food, to the ladies who looked after all the visitors and cleaned up afterwards and to the neighbours who organised outdoor seating in line with Covid 19 guidelines, a sincere thank you .

A sincere thank you to  J.P. Clarke Funeral Director, and his assistant John Walsh, for the sensitive and caring way they carried out Tracy's Funeral, bringing her from Drogheda to her Home, and to her final resting place in Kilvarnet Cemetery.

A sincere thank you to the Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA Club who along with neighbours and friends lined the route to welcome Tracy on her final journey home on the Tuesday evening , and again on the day of the Funeral.

A sincere thank you to Dr Ann Murray and Dr Bríd McElgunn for calling personally to our home, a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Tracy's two uncles in Auckland, Eamon and Alistair, for their daily phone calls.  Many thanks to family and friends in New Jersey, England, Seoul, and all over Ireland for their messages of sympathy.

A sincere thank you to all Tracy's work colleagues ,staff ,students and friends from Coláiste na Hinse, Laytown Co Meath, for their condolences and support during those days, and to many of you who travelled to be with us, a sincere thank you. We remember those also who were unable to attend due to restrictions but joined on the live stream. To Tracy's landlady Elaine and her partner William, heartfelt thanks for taking care of Tracy and travelling to say farewell to her.

We thank most sincerely Fr Pat Holleran for his many visits to our home and celebrating Tracy's Funeral Mass, and a sincere thank you to Fr Paul Kivlehan for concelebrating the Funeral Mass.

Thank you to Olivia O' Hanlon for her lovely music during Mass . A sincere thank you to Fr Christy McHugh Grange who offered Mass for Tracy at a later date.

A sincere thank you to the gravediggers who prepared Tracy's final resting place with such care and detail, lining it with greenery and beautiful flower petals.

To anyone who met Tracy on her journey through life, who talked to her, or hugged her, a sincere and heartfelt thank you.

As it would be impossible to thank you all indvidually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude. We are deeply grateful for your kindness.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Tracy's Months Mind Mass will take place on Sunday, 19th September 2021, at 10. 30 am in the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Joseph Rockfield, Coolaney.
