GREENE Eugene (Didley) Kilcoole who passed away on the 23rd August 2021, Aged 53. Eugene’s daughters Laura and Nicole, his mother Patty, brother Declan, grandchildren Leah & Jayden and extended family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind messages and support during this very sad time of losing Eugene. We offer our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who sent flowers, cards and food.

We would like give a special thank you to all the medical teams who cared for Eugene throughout the 30 years of illness he battled. Starting with the Renal team in Tallaght Hospital especially Dr Lavin and his nurse Moira, the Lung Surveillance team in St James’ Hospital especially Dr Fitzmaurice and Prof Tirian who cared for Eugene more recently and to Dr David Quinlan and the two Dr Fennelly's along with Nurse Barbara in St Vincent Hospital when Eugene was first diagnosed in 1992.

Also, a massive thank you to Dr David Hickey and the Beaumont Transplant team. Thank you to the community care team at Wicklow Hospice, Dr Darragh McAleer and previously Dr Frank Malone and all staff at Greystones medical Centre. Thank you to Margaret and all the staff at Kilcoole Pharmacy. Thank you to Fr David Keating for a lovely Mass and graveside prayers and to Nicole and Rob for the beautiful singing in the church.

A big thank you to William Doyle Funeral Directors for their professional and caring service and to Helen Hunt for the beautiful flower arrangements. Finally, a massive thank you to all our friends and family who helped out with getting Eugene to all his hospital appointments over the years especially Myles Walsh, all the Smyths, Bernard Collier, Mick Kelly, Susan Greene, Doreen Murray, Robert Doyle, Kevin Cook and Pat Fortune.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. We remember Eugene at this time as we celebrate his months mind.
