 Patrick Hanlon, husband of the late Kathleen Helena Hanlon, who died on the 20/9/2021, would like to thank on behalf of the Hanlon and Gallagher families most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our great loss.

I offer my heartfelt thanks to our many friends, neighbours and well wishers who attended Mc Glynns funeral home for rosary and prayers, removal to the Church, funeral Mass and interment and who provided emotional and practical support to us at this difficult time. To all the people who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards ,Mass cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made donations to Donegal Hospice, I am truly greatful.

I extend a special word of thanks to Helena's niece, Siobhan, for the attentive help, care and support  she give Helena during her long illness. Theresa Elliott for her help and unselfish support and to her special friends Mary Hanna, Janet O'Donnell and Fr Hugh, who were present for her final farewell. I would also like to thank Helena's special friends Kathy and Dave Bowman, who made the long journey to be with us. I also thank all Helena's friends who phoned and texted  her daily throughout her long illness.

A special thanks to Donegal Hospice for all they done for Helena, ensuring she could remain in her home until her final passing. To the Palliative Care the nurses  Bridget, Margaret and Michelle, who attended daily a special thanks. To the home care workers who attended her daily, cheered her up and made he so relaxed and happy, thanks. To doctors Kevin Bonner and Donnolly, thanks.

My sincere thanks to Fr. Cannon for the lovely celebration of Mass and also to his co celebrants Fr Hugh, Fr Eddie, Fr. Ciaran Mc Cartaigh, Fr. Charles Sweeney and Fr Michael O'Connell. To Sandra and her accomplice for their beautiful musical arrangemants. To  the mass readers John Cannon and Clair Lydon. thanks Also to the sacristan Maureen Mc Cahill for her help and recording of the Mass which was viewed by our many friends worldwide.

I also wish to thank Sean Mc Glynn undertaker for his professionalism and understanding, who guided me through my difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of my deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrafice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Month's Mind Mass for Helena will be celebrated at St Brigid's Church, Lettermacaward, on Saturday 23rd of October, at 7pm.
