A year has gone by since our Darling Elaine passed away.

As we lovingly remember Elaine on this her 1st Anniversary, we her family, would like to thank our friends and extended family who travelled from near and far to be with us.  A special thanks to Elaine's friends and colleagues who helped and supported us during our sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many neighbours and well-wishers who attended the house and provided emotional support to us.

Thank you to everyone who phoned, sent text messages, mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, floral tributes and those who left messages of condolences on  We gratefully acknowledge all of you who could not attend Elaine's funeral due to Covid-19 restrictions but who joined us remotely worldwide through church services, especially Elaine's friends in Sicily and Germany.

A special thank you to Fr. Brendan Crowley, Fr. Ultan, Fr. Peter Ahearne and Fr. Billy Meehan who concelebrated Elaine's beautiful and meaningful Mass and to Fr. Deo for officiating at her graveside.  Our thanks to Derek Ryan for the beautiful singing and to his accompanist Pat Marnane.  Thanks also to John O'Donoghue and Sons for their empathy and professionalism.

To those of you who stood outside the Church and at the Cemetery, we were so very touched and thank you for your support.   A big thank you to the girls and boys of the Rathcoole Commercials Hurling and Camogie Club who performed a Guard of Honour.  Elaine would have been so very proud of you.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Liz and John Nallen of Hotel Minella for their generosity and kindness.

A special thank you to Elaine's G.P. Dr. Maeve Teehan and to the doctors, nurses and staff of The Hermitage Clinic and The Harold's Cross Hospice for the care and kindness that they showed Elaine.

To all Elaine's neighbours and friends in Newlands Manor we are truly grateful for the friendship and kindness you showed her throughout the years.

Finally a huge thanks to all Elaine's friends and colleagues at Meridian Global with whom she shared many wonderful and happy years.

To those who helped in any way, we are truly grateful as you made our loss more bearable.  As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Elaine was a loving wife, a wonderful mother who loved and adored her precious children, Emma and Conor, a cherished daughter, sister, god-mother, aunt, niece, cousin, sister-in-law and friend and a caring daughter-in-law.  She was a vibrant and charismatic woman with great empathy for others and a great sense of humour who brightened the lives of all of us who knew her.   Elaine will always be remembered with love and the many wonderful, precious and happy memories we have of her will be an inspiration and comfort.

" Forever Young, Forever Beautiful, Forever in our Hearts"
