Anne Sheahan

Anne Sheahan (née Stackpoole)

Ballyguiltenane, Glin, Limerick
/ Moyvane, Kerry

On the first anniversary of Anne’s death, we, her family, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our bereavement.

Our sincere thanks to all who sent Mass cards, letters, messages of sympathy, online condolences, spoke to us by phone, travelled long distances, brought food and refreshments and called to the house. We deeply appreciate your support at such a difficult time. A special word of thanks to our neighbours in Glin who lined the roads and streets in her honour as Anne made her final journey.

A special thank you to Fr. Crawford & Fr. Curtin for prayers at the house, for celebrating the funeral mass and for the graveside prayers and to Anne's Grandniece Aìne for the hymns and music during the Mass.

To Leo Finucane, funeral director, our sincere gratitude for your compassion, guidance and attention to detail while COVID-19 restrictions were in place.

Thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the University Hospital Kerry for their care and attention.

To all others, as it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and sincere gratitude.

Anne's first anniversary Mass will be held on the 26th June at 11am  in Glin Church.

In our hearts your memory lingers, sweetly tender, fond and true.

There is not a day dear Mother, that we do not think of you.
