Vera’s daughter Dawn would like to express my most sincere thanks for comfort & support I received throughout Mammy’s sad passing & during the weeks since.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Mammy’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & letters, shared warm messages & happy memories online & all those who donated to www.arklowcancersupport.ie or www.wspca.ie in Mammy’s memory.
Special thanks to those who travelled long distances to join us in celebrating Mammy’s life & to those who could not be present but joined us via webcam.
My heartfelt thanks to the doctor’s, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s & St. Colmcille’s Hospitals for your kindness & care during Mammy’s final weeks.
Thank you to Fr. Michael Murphy for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to family & friends who took part in the liturgy & to Geraldine Delaney & Bridget Kenny for such fabulous music.
To Mammy’s dear friends, I thank you for your years of companionship & the many happy adventures you all shared.
Thanks also to Jason Porter for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
Finally, a huge thank you to my extended family for the incredible kindness & support you continue to give me.
Trusting that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of my sincere appreciation.
Mammy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated today (Wednesday) at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the church webcam
