Micheál’s wife Ann, children Colette, Geraldine, Niall, Eion, Kelly, Corrine, Samantha, Vanessa & Michael Junior & all his family wish to extend our most sincere & heartfelt thanks for the support & kindness shown to us throughout Micheál’s illness, at the time of his sad passing & during the weeks since.

Thank you to everyone who visited our home, attended Micheál’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & floral tributes, those who travelled long distances to be with us & those who could not be present but joined us via webcam & continue to keep us in their thoughts & prayers.

Very special thanks to the wonderful management & staff of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home & to Micheál’s medical team who brought such comfort, dignity & care to his final months.

We would also like to express a very special thank you to Micheál’s daughter-in-law, Andrea (Angie) for her amazing kindness, patience & loving care to both Ann & Micheál over the past few years but most especially at this time.

Thank you to Fr. David Brough for celebrating such a lovely funeral Mass & to Bridget Kenny for accompanying our two beautiful singers, Siún & Jasmine – Micheál would have been so proud.

Thank you to the Arklow Racquetball Club for your respectful Guard of Honour, to the management & staff of the Old Ship for their hospitality, to Joe & Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

Micheál’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th January at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam
