Eileen Brophy

Aherina, Kilmore, Clare
/ Cloughjordan, Tipperary / Dublin

The family of the late Eileen Brophy, Aherina, Kilmore, Clare and formerly of Cloughjordan, Tipperary and Dublin, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. A special thank you to all our family, friends, neighbours, and local communities. Thanks to all who called to our houses, brought food, telephoned, sent tributes through cards or messages of condolences, attended the funeral and who made charitable donations - we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to the management, nurses and staff of VHI Assist, St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Milford Care Centre for their care, kindness and compassion shown at all times; to those who helped and participated in Eileen’s funeral service, Fr. Pat Greed, Carmel Moroney, PJ Mason, the readers and musicians, especially to Patrick and the Belles and Whistles group and to all who helped with traffic management.  Thank you to Ray and staff at McMahon’s Bar for providing food and refreshments.  To all in McMahon’s Undertakers, especially Richard and David, thank you for your utmost professionalism and compassion.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered in memory of Eileen and for your intentions on Sunday 29 January at 9:30am in St. Peter’s Church, Broadford, Clare.
