Acknowledgement
Elizabeth Kenny (née Moore)
South Quay & late of 18 Upper Main Street, Arklow, Wicklow
Elizabeth’s children Pat, Charlotte, Martina & Nicola, their families & the family of her late son Owen wish to extend their most heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support they received at the time of Elizabeth’s sad & sudden passing & throughout the weeks since.
Thank you to everyone who visited our home, attended Mammy's removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & flowers, those who travelled long distances & all those who couldn’t be present but joined via webcam.
Our most sincere thanks to all those who helped us on the morning Mammy slipped away; the Arklow First Responders, the crew of Arklow Ambulance, the Advanced Paramedic Team & the Arklow Gardaí. Thanks also to Dr. Bentley, Dr. Devereux, Dr Dooley & nurses Jane & Eileen for their care over the years, also the staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy. A special word of thanks to Mr Cathal Louth for all his consideration & kindness.
Thank you to Fr. David Brough, Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin & Fr Liam Dunne for their prayers, comforting guidance & lovely funeral Mass & to Michael Flood & Margaret Fitzgerald for their beautiful music – Mammy’s every wish was fulfilled. To our dear friend Denis New, we thank you for your musical tribute.
To Mammy’s siblings & their families - thank you just doesn’t seem enough. We will never forget the way you all supported us.
Thanks to Mammy's friends, especially Maura, The Duffy Family & young Sara & our neighbours who have been so good to us.
Thanks also to the management & staff of The Old Ship, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors especially Niamh who went out of her way to comfort us.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Elizabeth’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 22nd January at 7pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the church webcam
