Eileen’s children Patricia, Moya, Eugene, Bridget, Eileen and families would like to express our sincerest thanks for the many ways in which we were supported and comforted through our recent sad loss.

We gratefully appreciate all those who visited the funeral home, attended Eileen’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass cards, letters and texts, those who shared warm wishes and happy memories online, all those who couldn’t be present but joined us via webcam and those who donated generously to www.alzheimer.ie in Eileen’s memory.

Our special thanks to the management and staff of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home for the comfort, dignity and wonderful care they brought to Eileen’s final months and to the medical team and carers who helped care for her.

We would like to thank to Fr. Michael Murphy for his prayers and blessing, to Fr. David Brough for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and to Karla Tracey, Rosarie Kinsella & Eileen’s nephews Mícheál & Pádraig Loughlin for their lovely music.

To our extended families, colleagues, neighbours & dear friends, your kindness & support will never be forgotten.

Thanks also to the management and staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Joe and Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.

Eileen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 21st January at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam
