First Anniversary and Acknowledgement.

On the occasion of Paul’s 1st Anniversary, his partner Helen Down would like thank all those who called, sent cards and letters, attended Paul’s visitation and all those who travelled, especially his good friend Fred Burns, Vancouver BC.

Thank you to my friends for your continuing support.

To the medical teams who cared for Paul. Dr Orla Crosbie and her staff, Dr Derek Power and his staff at C.U.H., Dr Michael Crotty and his staff and to all at Leeside Pharmacy, thank you for the care, support and kindness shown to us both.

There are no words to express my gratitude to all at Marymount Hospice. From our first contact with Irene and Catherine of the Palliative Team, the staff of St Catherine’s Ward and every person we met, thank you for the care and dignity shown to Paul.

To Michael, Patricia and Ann Crowley, Crowley’s Funeral Directors and staff, thank you for your professionalism and advice that guided me at such a difficult time.

To Ger Gunn and to the staff at the Island Crematorium, thank you for the beautiful ceremony as we said our final goodbye.

Thank you to my brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces for the support during Paul’s illness and since then. You have my eternal love and gratitude.
