Bill’s wife Joan, daughters Hilda & Jackie, son Henry & all of his extended family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with & supported us through our recent sad loss.

Thank you to all who visited our home, to those who attended Bill’s removal, funeral mass & burial & to those who sent Mass cards & donated generously to The Arklow St. Vincent de Paul in Bill’s memory.

Equally, to those who couldn’t visit or attend in light of the current restrictions, we thank you for your many kind expressions of sympathy & support & we hope you were able to share in the celebration of Bill’s life via the parish webcam.

Warmest thanks to the wonderful nurses & staff of St. Colman’s Hospital Day Centre, Rathdrum & Aisling House Nursing Home who looked after Bill in his final months, to all at Arklow Health Centre for their kindness & assistance and to Laura, Niamh and all the staff at Armstrong Pharmacy, Arklow.

Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, guidance & lovely funeral Mass & to Karla Treacy & Rosarie Kinsella for their beautiful music.

Thanks also to Bill & Joe for tending to the grave and all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their kind & professional service.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Bill’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church on Monday, 20th July, at 10am & those who can’t attend are welcome to join us via the Arklow Parish Webcam.
