 Patrick J. Shea

Cabra, Dublin / Ballinasloe, Galway / Lucan, Dublin

The family of the late Patrick J, Shea of Lucan, Co Dublin, and formerly of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway would like to express their thanks for the heartfelt sympathies and love shown to us by a wide range of people following our unexpected loss in February of this year.

On the six-month anniversary of Pat’s death, we would like to express our never-ending thanks to the circle of friends, extended family, neighbours and everybody who in one way or another helped us through our time of grief. A special thanks to those from overseas, and from far flung parts of Ireland who made the effort to attend Pat’s removal and funeral. The amount of Mass cards, texts, calls and support made it a lot easier. For this we will forever be in your gratitude.

A special word of thanks must go to the doctors, nurses and staff of St Brigid’s Ward, A&E, ICU and HDU departments of the Mater Hospital. We thank you for looking after Pat in his hour of need with courage and conviction. To Massey Brothers in Cabra, in particular Andrew, thank you for your guidance on all elements, your professionalism throughout, and for arranging a fitting send off. Also thank you to Emer Dillon for arranging the celebration of life. Your sense of the family will live long in the memory.

Finally to all who helped in anyway in the last 6 months (during which it hasn’t been easy for anyone given the current climate), thank you once again. We could name names but we’d be here all night. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest and never-ending gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
