 Elizabeth (Lilly) Farrell
(née Ratcliffe)

Baldoyle, Dublin / St. Margaret's, Dublin

The six daughters and nine sons of the late Lilly Farrell of 11 Marian Park, Baldoyle, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has sympathised and supported us through the heartbreaking loss of our adored Mam.

We will be eternally grateful to the hundreds of family, friends, neighbours and the people of Baldoyle who visited our home, attended the funeral and helped us give Mam a beautiful send off befitting her title as Queen of Baldoyle. We are appreciative to everyone who provided emotional support including Cornelia in Australia, Madeline in Canada, Carol in Wales, Peggy in Shannon and Fiona O' Donnell for her continued support and kindness. And to all who travelled to be with us from near and far including Galway, Cork, Kilkenny, Leitrim and Meath. To Tom's friends in Cornamona and the Wilton pub and Margaret Holohan (Blondie) for all her support. A special word of thanks to Phil White, Orla Carr and Linda Martin for all your love and kindness to Mam, we know how proud she was to be considered a mother figure to you. We would also like to thank Mam's cherished friends Eileen White, Ann O'Donnell, Stella Hanna, Nora Bowes, Mary Travers and Trisha Grant.

We will never forget the loving care provided to Mam by so many wonderful people. To Dr. Gilliland for always going above and beyond in the exceptional care she always gave Mam and to her staff at Sutton Cross Surgery in particular Liz, Lorraine and Nora. To Caroline Long, the most amazing nurse and friend to Mam who was always available and provided such loving care right to the end. To the doctors and nurses in Beaumont Hospital and the Community Intervention Team, a sincere thank you for all your care and kindness. We, the brothers and sisters of Betty would like to give her a special mention for caring for Mam everyday for the last 27 years since our dad passed away and for never saying no.

To Father Peter and Father Gabriel for your warmth, help and guidance throughout the funeral. To Linda Martin, Shane Barriscale, Mary O' Connor, Pat Kelly and Ronan Murray for the much talked about beautiful music and singing and to the Baldoyle Funeral Mass team for preparing the church and assisting at the funeral. To Staffords funeral home, in particular Paul and Sheila thank you for your care, attentiveness and for bringing Mam home to us on the day she passed.

We would like to give a special mention to all Granny Lilly's grandchildren who did her proud by organising the marquee and caterers and made sure everyone got a Granny Lilly welcome and a cup of tea and to Phil White for all her help and hard work.

A final thank you to Minister Helen McEntee, Andy McEntee Meath Manager, Club Nà Mì, Dublin Bus, Irish Wheelchair Association, PC Commercials, Malahide Travel, the staff of St. Mary's Secondary School Baldoyle and Peter Farrelly.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.

In our hearts you will always be

Loved Forever, Our Queen Bee
