(née Casey)

Nuns Walk, Cork

Acknowledgement and First Anniversary

The family of the late Linda Wallace would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all those who showed their love and support at the time of Linda's death and in the difficult year that followed.

As we remember Linda today on her First Anniversary, we would like to pay special thanks to the Staff of Cork University Hospital, Dr Maria McLaughlin GP, Sullivan's Funeral Services, The Choristers, Patsy Seymour, Frankie Berry, the Staff of Turners Cross Tavern and The Viaduct Inn. Our sincere gratitude to the Very Rev Canon Michael Murphy PP who said a very personal and thoughtful Requiem Mass and took the time to visit Linda when she was in hospital.

Thank you to everyone who called to the house, attended the rosary, removal and funeral, sent messages, Mass cards and flowers. Thanks to those who travelled from across Ireland and the UK to be with us. A special thank you to Linda's fellow members of The Samaritans for your kindness and thoughtfulness. To our neighbours, friends and relatives, we thank you all for being there and for sharing your memories with us.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

An Anniversary Mass will be held in the Chapel of Christ our Saviour, Cork University Hospital on Wednesday 18th November 2020 at 12:00 which can be listened to on CUH Radio 102 fm.

Remembered with love today and everyday by her husband Robert, daughters Melanie & Aileen, son Johnathan, sister Catherine, brother Martin, grandsons Christopher, Ethan & Calaeb and granddaughters Caitlin, Casey & Carrie-Anne.

Shall I ne'er see you more Gentle Mother

In the fields where the wild flowers grow

I am sorry for the loss I can't recover

'Neath yon' willow lies my Gentle Mother's love
