Acknowledgment and First Anniversary

Today, the 6th November 2020, on the First Anniversary of Bernie’s passing, her husband Dan and sons Noel and Declan would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised and supported them on their sad loss. Thanks to all who attended the Rosary, Removal and Funeral and thanks also to all who sent Mass cards, Mass enrolments, flowers and to those who phoned or called to the house to express their condolence.

A special thank you to all the staff of Maguire House, St Luke’s Home, who cared for Bernie and who were so supportive to all of Bernie’s family, especially on her final week there.

Thank you to Canon John Paul Hegarty, for a personal and thoughtful Mass and thanks also to Fr Mortimer Downing and Fr Pat Foley, who concelebrated Bernie’s Mass. Thank you to Jean Elliott and Anna Lavelle for the beautiful music. Our gratitude also goes to the committee of Donoughmore Community Centre for arranging refreshments after the funeral ceremony.  

Sincere thanks to Donal Forde and all the staff at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross, for their professionalism and thoughtful manner in which they carried out the funeral services.

A special thank you to the McCarthy and Ryan families for their continued support.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
