Peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Beloved wife of Peter, dear mother of Peter & Vincent, sister of Jean, Eilish and the late Bernadette and daughter of the late Vincent and Sheila. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughter-in-law Donna, Vincent’s fiancée Edel, grandchildren Katie and Sarah, sisters, brothers-in-law Stephen, Colm and Tommy, sisters-in-law Carmel, Margaret and Bernadette, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Sheila's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family only.

The Mass will be livestreamed on www.vidfuneral.com

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Sheila by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Monday, April 12th, as the funeral cortege leaves her home, proceeding to the Mortuary Chapel, Dowdallshill for Mass at 11am and afterwards for burial in the adjoining cemetery.
