RIP.ie is a Data Processor where we offer the use of our site to clients. For example, where a Funeral Director posts a death notice on our site, the Funeral Director is the Data Controller, Rip.ie is the Data Processor.

6. How Do You Use My Personal Data?

8. How do you keep my data secure and confidential?
We are committed to ensuring that your data is secure with us and with the third parties who act on our behalf. All staff working for RIP.ie have a legal duty to keep data about you confidential and all staff are trained in data security and confidentiality. RIP.ie has strict data security policies and procedures in place to ensure that data about you is safe, whether it is held in paper or electronic format.

We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected and in accordance with the legal obligations. In general, your data will be retained for no longer than is necessary to comply with our business and legal obligations.
